Overview
LakeCity International is a Japan based company that specializes in providing accommodation services to the students moving from Nepal to Japan. The company helps Nepali Students and SSW workers to easily adapt to the Japanese lifestyle, culture and tradition while helping newly moved people to build and grow in the community.

Our Goal
The primary goal of building the web application for LakeCity is for management of all the students enrolled digitally. The main pain points for clients was they would scroll hundred of paper to find the information regarding the students and it was difficult. Our goal is to minify the interaction so that required information would be extracted easily and quickly.
Our Challenges
The primary challenges we faced while developing the application was to incorporate the inconsistent workaround and different source of data that needed to be grouped together. Data modeling and relationships were challenging but was effectively managed by our team. Faster performance with appealing design was also carried our elegantly.

Our Solution
The objective was to design the application that is user-friendly, responsive and informational that provides student and room related information. Considering the business requirements the distinctive entities like buildings, rooms, students, providers should be easily distinguished and have proper relations among them. We incorporated the latest design principles and technology for the application to ensure that application is secure and updated.
User Management
To begin with, the old website was doing well. Customers were able to view goods and order them through the website. Excellent start!
Income/Expense Tracker
One of the core requirements of the client was to include an income/expense tracker that facilitates the inclusion of tracking client's daily income/expense records. The application provides a different interface for allowing admin to add income and expense with different categories and different fields according to those specific categories. Categories include Room Rent, Utilities, Telecommmunication, Office Materials, Employee Salary etc. This will help in generating a data for recording and analyzing the income/expense for the admin.
Utilities
Utilities are room related entities that have direct relationship with room such as insurace, gas, electricity. The relationship between room, utilites and building are inter-related and shown interlinked in the application for easier access.
Building Management
Building Management is an entity that keeps track of building structure and overall condition. The provision of adding Building Management lets admin to add all the related information such as Location, Name, Contract Information and Contract. The payment will be made to the Building Management of other third party providers and all the relevant information will be stored and recorded so that Admin will have easy access to see whether they are due for payment or not.
The Outcome
The web-application that catered the business requirements and student management and income/expense tracking, the clients were totally satisfied with the results. With the notifications that keep them updated with all the related events happening and report export to the type they presented in other business deals, they were immensely happy for the product and its impact on their daily business run.
